NEW YORK (WFAN) — The weekend at Bernie’s wasn’t very much fun for the Mets.

No, not a very good vacation for the Amazin’s.

Terry Collins took the blame for the broom appearing in the Bronx. Maybe the Mets manager should also shoulder the blame for high college tuition, drug use, unemployment and high taxes.

Omar Quintanilla said he was going to pick up Jeter’s infield double — as soon as the ball stopped rolling.

It was a rough few days against the Yankees. Now on to Tampa Bay…
