State Police Hoping To Find Missing N.J. Five-Year-Old David Lundy In Brooklyn

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) - Authorities searching for a missing five-year-old New Jersey boy apparently abducted by his grandfather said that the child may be in New York City.

State police are looking into "several locations'' in Brooklyn where David Lundy may have been taken.

The child was last seen on Friday evening near his West Windsor home. He suffers from a chronic illness, and it's not known if he has his medication.

David, who is black, is three-foot-four and weighs about 55 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white and green shirt with blue cargo shorts.

He's believed to be with his grandfather, 50-year-old Morris "Tommy'' Lundy of New York. The elder Lundy, who is black, is five-foot-10 and weighs 180 pounds. Police believe that he recently shaved his head.

All you can hope for is that this little boy is healthy and safe. Offer your thoughts and comments in the section below...
