"At that time a victim came forward, reporting that they allegedly sought out the services of a psychic for advice regarding personal issues," Morris County Prosecutor's Office Spokesman Capt. Jeffrey Paul told WCBS 880's Levon Putney.

Paul said that the first victim paid a total of over $76,000 to Lee, and according to Paul, Lee claimed that she would keep the money secured at a church.

"And once the money was cleansed through prayer, the money would be returned to the victim," Paul said in reference to what Lee told the victim.

Paul said that four other victims eventually came forward. In all, they said that Lee made off with over $331,000.

The psychic is now facing theft, money laundering and tax-evasion charges.
