Jerry Recco’s first update of the morning began in a similar fashion as to today’s show, by providing the details surrounding the Yankees 5-4 win over the Indians – including losing Andy Pettitte for 6-8 weeks to a broken fibula – which practically brought Suzyn Waldman to tears – sorta.

The Mets got the bats going on a warm day in Chicago, plating 17 runs to the Cubs 1 and halting their 4-game slide.  Daniel Murphy hit his first two long-balls of the season and Jordany ‘I Am The Man Right Now’ Valdespin gets sent down, rendering his self-given nickname a little foolish.

Plus, the NBA Draft will take place tonight in Newark, but will anyone be watching? Former Knicks’ forward Pat Cummings passes away at the age of 55 and penalty kicks…
