White Returns To The NBA With Knicks

NEW YORK (WFAN) – The Knicks added 29-year-old journeyman forward James White on Wednesday.

White was playing in Italy over the last two seasons and signed for less than the veteran’s minimum of $1.4 million dollars.  The New York Times later reported White signed for $854,000.

Previously, he made stops in the NBA with the Indiana Pacers,  San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets.

He was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers 31st overall in the 2006 NBA draft, but the 6’7″ White has only played 10 career NBA games.

He played for the University of Florida before transferring to Cincinnati after sitting out one year.
