ORIENT POINT, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A boater on Long Island who was reported missing after family members said he didn’t show up for work Monday morning has been found, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard had been looking for 36-year-old Todd Feilage of Greenport.

Authorities said Feilage left Greenport headed for Westbrook, Conn. around 6 p.m. Sunday on his 21-foot recreational vessel. He called his father just before leaving and told him he was having engine trouble, Coast Guard officials said.

When Feilage didn’t show up for work Monday, his family called authorities and a search was launched.

The Coast Guard said Feilage was found Monday at his intended destination of Westbrook, Conn.
