Police: Connecticut Woman Arrested For Biting Mother, Throwing Family Dog

 GLASTONBURY, Conn. (CBSNewYork/AP) - It was a ruff night for a Connecticut woman and her family.

Lindsay Anderson, 20, of Glastonbury, faces assault and animal cruelty charges after police said she bit her mother and threw the family dog.

Anderson was intoxicated when she was arrested on Saturday after a domestic dispute at her home, police said.

Anderson was charged with violating a protective order, disorderly conduct, interfering with a 911 call, third-degree assault and cruelty to animals, police said.

Bond was set at $25,000. She is due in Superior Court in Manchester on July 16.
