The Return Of Garth Brooks In 2014!

Mark your calendars! Singing Legend Garth Brooks may be returning to the road and touring your city in 2014. Although indefinite, Brooks hinted at this possibility at a news conference before his concert at the Calgary Stampede, according to The Vancouver Sun.

"I'd love to tour again with Miss [Trisha] Yearwood and have no guilt,” said Brooks, “But I'm still two years away.”

So why wait two years? After retiring in 2001, Brooks didn’t stay out of the spotlight permanently. In 2009, he came out of retirement and returned to the stage—the Las Vegas stage that is, where he is contracted to perform for five years at the Wynn Hotel and Casino (until 2014).

Brooks has no regrets with the decisions he’s made over the years. One of the main reasons he retired was to spend more time with his family. He indicated his wife and daughters exceed anything he has ever accomplished in his career.

"It's always been about the babies,” said Brooks. “Our youngest is a junior in senior high school now. Our oldest, we just celebrated her 20th. If God lets us do it and everything goes well, I would love to tour again.”

If Brooks decides not to tour, country music still has an exciting future ahead. Brooks’ daughter Allie Colleen may be the next big star.

"My youngest has got it,” said Brooks. “She's got the bug but she's got the goods, too.”

Brooks said she is so great he gets emotional just thinking about all her talent, and if America is lucky, this talent will come to light in the future.
