NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man spotted shirtless on surveillance video.

Police say the man captured on video slashed another 23-year-old man in the leg with a knife early Saturday morning.

Police say the incident took place at East 55th Street and Second Avenue at roughly 3:45 a.m.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
