CC Sabathia is scheduled to make his next start for the Yankees Friday night, when the Mariners come to the Bronx. In the meantime CC took the time to call in and chat with Boomer and Craig about the (struggling) Yankees.
Sabathia didn’t seem to concerned about the Bombers’ recent slide, although he did seem a bit worried about his teammate Mark Teixeira, after he left last night’s game with an injured left wrist and will undergo an MRI later today.
The guys asked the ‘hefty-lefty’ about the addition of Ichiro Suziki and the abundance of quality outfielders the Yankees currently have on their roster. As far as his own health, he says he is 100% and ready for the stretch run…
