NBC has spent a lot of money for exclusive coverage of the Olympic Summer games in London, yet for some reason have elected to air the majority of the events on tape delay, which was the case last night when they lured viewers in during ‘prime-time’ so that they could root on 17-year-old Missy Franklin (pictured) during her (tape delayed) quest for gold in the 100m Backstroke.
Then right before they finally were ready to air the anticipated event, NBC ran a promo for ‘The Today Show’ where ‘gold medal winning’ Missy Franklin would be a guest.
Kinda ruined the suspense for the viewers, hence the verbal tongue lashing from Craig…
