Frank Sinatra's Former East 72nd Street Penthouse For Sale

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Looking to own a piece of Rat Pack history?

A penthouse that once belonged to Frank Sinatra is up for sale.

The East 72nd Street duplex was owned by Sinatra from 1961 until 1972.

It has four bedrooms, six bathrooms and a massive wrap-around terrace that was the location of some pretty wild parties back in the day.

"This terrace has hosted many parties," Jason Haber, CEO of Rubicon Property, said. "There's a story about Sammy Davis, Jr. throwing champagne glasses off the terrace, landing right on the FDR Drive."

The space has been completely redone since Sinatra lived there, however, a photograph of Ol' Blue Eyes, that he had hanging on the living room wall, has been saved.

"That photograph was found during the renovation," Haber said. "We preserved it and put it on the wall in this apartment in the exact same spot where Sinatra had it."

The penthouse is going for $7.7 million.
