NEW YORK (WLNY) -- It's a big issue for modern day parents.
When do you "unplug" your kids from technology?
A recent study by the Kaiser Family Foundation found that nearly half of kids ages eight to 18 who were heavy media users - people who text, e-mail, surf the web much of the day - typically earned struggling grades.

Another study found that more children ages two to five know how to play a computer game than ride a bike or know how to swim.
