NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The mystery winner of last month’s Mega Millions jackpot has finally been revealed.

Choi rarely plays the lottery but said she couldn’t help herself when she saw how big the jackpot had gotten.

“I might spend $10 a year on lottery tickets,” Choi said. “I saw the big jackpot on the display in the store and went ahead and bought a ticket.”

The winning numbers were 3, 4, 24, 36, 52 and the Mega Ball is 45.

Choi chose the lump sum payment of $64 million. She will take home just over $40 million after taxes.

“I am still in shock,” Choi said. “I’ve already started looking at new condos, but that’s about it.”

The owner of the store, Tony Lau, will receive $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The record for the largest Mega Millions jackpot was set in March. It was worth more than $650 million.
