Authorities: Utility Worker With Jersey Central Power & Light Dies By Electrocution

MANALAPAN, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) - Authorities said that a utility worker with Jersey Central Power & Light has died after being electrocuted while on the job.

First Assistant Monmouth County Prosecutor Richard Incremona told the Asbury Park Press that the man died on Friday morning while doing work on Daum Road in Manalapan.

JCP&L Spokesman Ron Morano said that the company is mourning the loss of a member of the "JCP&L family.''

Morano said that no further details are being released, and the man's name has not been made public, pending family notification.
