Tim McGraw And Faith Hill Announce Vegas Residency

Watch out, Garth and Shania, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are about to join you in Las Vegas.

Country music's currently reigning power couple (sorry, Miranda and Blake...and Garth and Trisha) announced today they will begin a residency at the Venetian on the Las Vegas Strip this coming December.

Titled Soul2Soul after their popular joint concert tours of the early 2000s , the show will be held at the 1800-seat Venetian Theatre. The first show takes place December 7, and dates are currently scheduled into April of 2013.

Faith and Tim broke the news publicly during a press conference today (Aug. 8) in Las Vegas. "I'm so excited, this is thrilling for us," said Hill during the announcement event, which was streamed live on the couple's website.

McGraw echoed her enthusiasm. "This is a different way to see what we've done in years," he said. "We are in the process of building the show now. The production is going to be very cutting-edge. We don't want to give away too much, but it's going to be us together, that we can say."

The Vegas show will be a "different format," said Tim, than their previous Soul2Soul tours, where they performed separate sets. As Faith explained it, "that's what's going to be really unique about this show. Here, we will spend most of the time together" on stage.

Soul2Soul show dates:

December 7-8, 14-15
January 18-19, 25-26
February 1-2, 15-16 & 22-23
March 1-2
April 12-13, 26-27

General ticket sales begin Aug. 13, and prices run from $95.50 to $295.50 (VIP packages are higher).
