Boomer & Craig began this edition of the Morning Extravaganza by talking about the Jets, after they opened up their preseason schedule with a 17-6 loss to the Bengals Friday night and played three quarterbacks in the process.  Mark Sanchez is the Jets’ starting QB  and he did just that – going 4-6 for 21 yards in his limited playing time.  The signal caller that garnered the majority of the attention before, during and after the game wears the number 15 and has developed quite a following.

We’re talking of course about Tim Tebow, who finished the game 4-8 for 27 yards and an interception.  Boomer & Craig tried to make sense of the crazy coverage Tebow continues to get, with Boomer calling it mind-numbing.  With that said, the Dynamic Radio Duo discussed Tebow and the Jets’ performance before moving on to the Yankees, who placed CC Sabathia on the DL with soreness in his left elbow.

Despite the fact that still hold a five-game lead in the AL East, the guys believe that the Yankees could be in serious without the services of the ‘hefty-lefty’ until August 24th – which is when Sabathia says that he will return…
