The Yankees beat down the Texas Rangers last night by a score of 8-2, giving them the best record in the AL (68-47) and because of that Craig declared that the Bombers are back, thus beginning this Tuesday edition of the Morning Extravaganza.
The Yanks got big-time performances from David Phelps and newly acquired Derek Lowe, prompting Boomer & Craig to sing the praises of Yanks GM Brian Cashman, before inevitably shifting their focus to Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Rex Ryan and the rest of the circus that is the New York Jets these days.
