N.J. Man Accused Of Videotaping Boys In Shower At 'Land Of Make Believe'

HOPE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A New Jersey man is in police custody after allegedly videotaping boys at a popular amusement park.

Patrick Deck, 52, is facing three counts of invasion of privacy stemming from his alleged actions at the "Land Of Make Believe" in Hope, prosecutors said Thursday.

Investigators said a search warrant was executed at his Watchung home, where hundreds of video tapes were found. Authorities are now looking through them for more possible victims and the Warren County prosecutor could file additional charges.

The alleged actions came to light when a patron saw Deck allegedly taping the boys in a shower from a changing room, CBS 2's Christine Sloan reported.

Deck was also charged with possession of a rifle, which he was not allowed to have because of a prior conviction involving minors, CBS 2's Sloan reported.

Deck has been released on $100,000 bail. Sources told CBS 2, he could be back in court as early as Friday.
