NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Beefy, a bulldog who rocketed to celebrity with his skateboarding skills, is taking a stand against breast cancer. Beefy and his owner Patrick Clemens are skateboarding across the country to raise cash to fight the disease.

Clemens’ wife Erin and mother Louise are both breast cancer survivors. They are making the effort to encourage young women to learn how to check for breast cancer.
