BERGEN, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – A Palisades Park man has been arrested in connection with the attempted sexual assault of a 21-year-old woman, authorities said Tuesday.

South Hackensack police arrested Hui Noh of Palisades Park on Sept. 2. According to prosecutors, police were responding to a call for help at the Congress Inn Motel on Route 46 West. According to the prosecutor’s office, when police got there, the woman claimed Noh attempted to sexually assault her in a motel room.

She managed to run away.

Other motel guests kept Noh detained until police arrived, prosecutors said.

A judge set bail for Noh at $200,000. He’s currently being held at Bergen County Jail.
