In an effort to keep the Football Friday theme going strong, Al Dukes booked Boomer’s good buddy Bill Cowher to join the program. Cowher can be seen along side Boomer Sundays on ‘The NFL Today’ on CBS and he seemed to get a real kick out of Craig’s ‘glowing’ introduction.
Cowher offered his take on the Giants’ loss to the Cowboys, the Jets Week 1 tilt with the Bills and some other odds and ends. Before saying goodbye, Cowher did his best to side-step an invitation from Craig to go see ‘Jersey Boys’ on Broadway – but you know how Craigie can be, so I’m sure we haven’t heard the last of that…
