B&C Morning Show: Bombers Fall Short; Jets Prepare For Bills
To kick off the very first Football Friday of the season, Boomer & Craig began today's show talking about ... the Yankees?!?! That's because with their 10-6 loss in Baltimore last night, the Bombers fell into a tie for first place in the AL East with the Orioles, and the Rays are just 2 games back. Because of that, the Yanks trumped football early on, as Craig expects Phil Hughes to come up big tonight, Boomer says he better.
From the Yanks struggles to the New York Jets, as the Mark Sanchez/Tim Tebow 'era' will officially get underway this Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium when Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Buffalo Bills come to town. There are certainly quite a few question marks surrounding Gang Green, but the guys agree that the defensive side of the ball should be pretty solid. Although neither member of the Dynamic Radio Duo would reveal their pick for the game, it was clear Craig was leaning toward his beloved Jets, while the Booms didn't seem so sure.
Rounding things out, Craig teased a segment for later in the show involving Boomer's fantasies, aptly named 'Boomer's Fantasy' and the Blonde Bomber seemed pretty excited about it...
