ROOSEVELT, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Nassau County Police are looking into an attempted abduction on Long Island.
A woman claims a man tried to snatch a 3-month-old from her arms at around 1:15 p.m. near West Centennial Avenue and Nassau Road in Roosevelt, police said.
The man, who is said to be 6 feet tall with a thin build and around 35-40 years old, was unsuccessful, and ran off.
