At Least One Dead After Driver Hits Pedestrians In East Brunswick

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) — Two pedestrians were killed and another was seriously injured when they were struck by a car in central New Jersey.

East Brunswick police say the driver of the car was also critically injured in the accident, which occurred just before 1 p.m. Saturday in the area of Dunhams Corner Road and Hardenburg Lane. But further details on the crash were not immediately available, and the victims’ names were not disclosed.

It was not immediately clear what caused the accident, which occurred near a three-way intersection in the Middlesex County community.
