Cops: Pair Stole $2,100 Worth Of Jeans From Suffolk County Gap Store

SOUTH HUNTINGTON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police are trying to find two suspects who they said stole more than $2,100 worth of clothes from a Gap store in Suffolk County.

It happened back on July 20 at the Gap at the Walt Whitman Mall in South Huntington.

The two suspects walked in to the store separately and took 31 pairs of jeans from a display area, police said. They put the jeans into shopping bags and then walked out of the store, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.
