Fence Falls, Kills 18-Month-Old Boy In Bayville
BAYVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A baby has died following a freak accident on a Long Island beach.
The 18-month-old boy was playing on Ransom Beach in Bayville around 5 p.m. Monday when a metal fence that was leaning against the Town of Oyster Bay's maintenance office fell on the child, WCBS 880's Sophia Hall reported.

The boy, identified as Phillip Amico, suffered a head injury and was airlifted to Nassau University Medical Center, police said.
He died of his injuries early Tuesday morning.
Nassau County Police said there is no criminality and the incident has been deemed accidental.
