NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – We get all sorts of great guests on The Couch, but we’re pretty sure this is the first time we’ve had animated characters, in the flesh.

That’s right. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo visited Studio 46.

Normally the Ninja Turtles are known for having pizza, but the crew stopped by The Couch for bagels and coffee Tuesday morning to celebrate the launch of the brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series on Nickelodean.

It’s a new take on the turtle tale – for a new generation. Jason Biggs from American Pie will voice the character of Leonardo and Sean Astin from Lord of the Rings will also have a role in the show.
