B&C Morning Show: Jerry’s Football Friday Update; Craig’s Manhood
Jerry Recco began his first football Friday update by offering a recap of last night’s Yankees-Blue Jays game, which ended with a score of 6-0 in favor of the Jays. With the loss, the Bombers saw their lead in AL East trimmed to just one game and Boomer & Craig deduced that Jays’ starter Brandon Morrow is a tough kid.
Joe Girardi chalked the loss up to a bad game, while Ivan Nova has no plans to give up.
During Jerry’s Yankee wrap-up, Craig suggests that he might pull his pants down, which prompted Boomer to threaten to house him — and then Alex Rodriguez summed things up.
The Mets shut out the Pirates 6-0, behind Cy Young hopeful R.A. Dickey who earned his 20th win of the season. Boomer & Craig agree that Dickey-Dickey-Dickey should take home the Cy Young hardware, but as Mets fans they are a little tired of celebrating these individual accomplishments year-in and year-out.
Plus some news from both Giants – who will take on the Eagles Sunday night in the ‘City of Brotherly Love’ and the Jets, as they prepare for the 49ers. And oh yeah, Craig has his manhood called into question, which evoked a belly laugh from the Blonde Bomber…
