B&C Morning Show: Yankees, Mets, Giants And Jets; Plenty Of Low-Hanging Fruit

It's a football Friday in the big city and the Dynamic Radio Duo, otherwise known as Boomer & Carton, took their seats in the Allstate Studio shortly after 6 a.m. all sorts of fired up -- and why wouldn't they be?!

Rex is preparing his Gang Green to take on the San Francisco 49ers, Eli & the Giants will be in Philly Sunday night to take on 'Mike Vick' and the Eagles, R.A. Dickey won his 20th game - making the the 'Not So Amazin' Mets somewhat relevant - and the Yankees saw their lead in the AL East trimmed to just one game with six left to play.

Boomer & Craig touched on it all, beginning with the Yankees.  Craig is still confident that the Bombers will hold off the Orioles and capture the AL East crown - although he did declare that 'Ivan Nova can no longer be trusted' - while Boomer continues to warn his radio partner not to underestimate Buck Showalter's O's.

One thing the guys could agree on with regard to the Yanks, is that tonight's starter Hiroki Kuroda 'needs to step up.'

The Giants have some injury concerns as Corey Webster, Antrel Rolle and Ahmad Bradshaw are all banged-up.  Moving right along to the Jets, who even with Darrelle Revis out with a torn ACL, still have the best cornerback in the league if you ask Antonio Cromartie.

Rounding things out, Craig admitted to actually watching the Mets beat the Pirates yesterday and not only got to see Dickey-Dickey-Dickey earn his 20th win of the season, but he also saw Pirates outfielder Travis Snider make arguably the best catch in the history of Citi Field (which opened back in 2009)...
