NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Over the weekend, you can enjoy a fabulous show at Feinsteins at the Loews Regency.

Linda Purl, an actress from Matlock, Happy Days, The Office and True Blood, will be performing a new show,  “Midnight Caravan” with special guest Desi Arnaz Jr.

The two have known each other for years. After meeting on a movie set, the couple was even married at one point. No longer together, the two remain friends and Desi is remarried.

“Desi very kindly agreed to come in and play percussion, which is something that everybody should experience once in a lifetime because he blows the roof off,” Purl said. “It’s a tribute to the great nightclub era in New York.”

Purl describes the show as a trip through the New York City of the 40s and 50s, including the vintage nightclubs of the day.

Of course, we had to ask Arnaz what it was like growing up as the son of television legends.

“There’s no way to describe it,” he said. “I Love Lucy usurped any individual… It’s beyond, it’s more than any one person. “
