Missing New Haven Boy Found Safe In The Bronx

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) -- New Haven police say an 11-year-old city boy who went missing Friday night has been found safe in New York City.

Police said on Sunday that William ``C.J.'' Pagan was found in the Bronx. Authorities say he apparently climbed out of his window at his home Friday night and took a train to New York.

Officer David Hartman says police officials planned to bring the boy back home Sunday afternoon.

State police issued a silver alert for the boy Saturday morning, and New Haven police searched locations across the city.

It's not clear why the boy ran away or where exactly he went.
