B&C Morning Show: Giants Come Up Short; Rex's Recipe For An A-- Kickin'

Before Jerry Recco could even get to his first informative and entertaining update of the morning, Craig - obviously still emotional from yesterday afternoon's beat down - wondered aloud if the Jets just might be the worst team in the entire NFL.

Craig went on to explain how his beloved Gang Green ruined what should have been an enjoyable football Sunday.

Eventually Jerry was permitted to do his thing. Jerry's 'thing' started off with the Giants' 19-17 loss to the Eagles last night in Philly.  Lawrence Tynes missed a potential game-winning FG from 54 yards, when his attempt came up short.  With the loss, Tom Coughlin's Big Blue dropped to 2-2 and will now begin to prepare for a visit from the Browns to Metlife Stadium this Sunday.

As for those aforementioned Jets, Jerry provided all of the gory details from yesterday afternoon's beat down at the hands of San Francisco 49ers, which ended with the Jets getting shut out 34-0.  Afterwards Rex Ryan first apologized for his language and then offered up a recipe for an a-- kicking.

In a somewhat shocking turn of events, Craig issued a public apology to former Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenhemier, before Jerry provided some audio of Mark Sanchez pointing out that the Jets are still 2-2 and the news that Santonio Holmes could be out for a while with a banged-up foot.

Plus Jerry provided the rest of the NFL Week 4 scores from around the league - which overall was very entertaining and some news and notes from MLB, as both the Yanks and the Orioles clinch a playoff birth, but are still battling it out for the AL East crown .  Finally, the USA loses the Ryder Cup in disappointing fashion...
