B&C Morning Show: Without Further Ado, It's Jerry Recco
Jerry Recco had plenty to get to when recapping last nights electrifying 4-3, 12-inning win over the Red Sox. We were privy to a couple radio play-by-play calls from the one and only John Sterling, both involving Raul Ibanez, who was the Bombers' offensive hero last night in the Bronx.
Mark Teixeira the 'sports yapper' had a tough night at the plate, going 0-6 and grounding in to two double plays. After hearing a brief word from John and Suzyn, Joe Girardi simplifies things, while Boomer still sees trouble ahead for the Yankees.
Plus, RA Dickey fails to earn win #21, but did strike out 'feel-good story' Adam Greenberg on three pitches and apparently has been playing the majority of the season with a tear in a very uncomfortable place. Santonio Holmes appears to be done for the season, so they went out and signed full back Lex Hilliard. One word: Wildcat.
Boomer & Craig agree, the Jets are putting way too much on the shoulders to of Mark Sanchez and appear to be setting him up for failure...
