The Yankees needed a few extra frames to solve things last night with the Red Sox.  But when the dust settled, the Bombers escaped with a thrilling 4-3 win, in 12 innings and maintained their one game lead over the Orioles with just one game left to play.  Boomer & Craig could not be happier with the way things are playing out during the final days of the baseball season, calling this time of year ‘moment-making time.’

Last night’s hero was Raul Ibanez, who came off the bench to tie the game on the bottom of the 9th with a 2-run HR and then end it in the bottom of the 12th with an RBI single – thus ‘making a coupla moments.’

Moving right along to the Jets, who after getting the news that Santonio Holmes is likely lost for the rest of the season with a ‘Lisfranc’ injury in his foot, have cut wide receiver Patrick Turner to make room for fullback Lex Hilliard.  Craig turned to his radio partner for an explanation, but Boomer was no help.

So it was some good with the Yanks and the usual with the Jets, as the Dynamic Radio Duo got down to business on this Wednesday edition of the Morning Extravaganza…
