Customers Demand Answers, Dresses From Shuttered Larchmont Bridal Shop

LARCHMONT, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) --  Some brides are feeling last minute jitters before their weddings but it has nothing to do with saying "I do."

Customers of a Larchmont bridal shop are worried they won't get the dresses they ordered after finding out the store is going out of business, 1010 WINS' Al Jones reported.

Bride-to-be Beatrice Vargas said her wedding is a month away and she still hasn't received her dress from Me Me and Michelina's Bridal & Formalwear on Palmer Avenue.

"I'm really upset, we're in October and there's no dresses, where's the dresses?" Vargas said. "The whole process has been really stressful going through all this stuff, it's not fair to anybody."

Another customer said she spent over $2,000 on her sister's wedding dress and four bridesmaid dresses that have yet to be delivered to her.

With their calls going unanswered, customers have been going to the store, peering through the glass and pounding on the door to demand answers and more importantly, their dresses.

On Wednesday, someone inside the store, identified by customers as owner Margaret Pasquino, cracked open the door and addressed the crowd.

"We are delivering all our orders, if you please stop interrupting me I'll get it done," Pasquino told customers.

The owner is reportedly closing the store because of personal problems.
