After last night’s 14-2 beatdown of the Boston Red Sox, the Yankees are once again winners of the AL East.  It was an amazing night in the Bronx, as the Yanks finished the regular season in style and will now play either the Texas Rangers or their divisional adversary, the Baltimore Orioles, on the road beginning Sunday.

Say what you want about him, but Joe Girardi managed his club to the best record in the American League and now the real season begins for the Bombers — and Craig could not be happier.

Boomer isn’t happy just because of the Yankees specifically (he roots for the Mets through good times and bad) but rather as a baseball fan.  In addition to the Yankees exciting finish, the A’s created their own magic out in Oakland by overcoming the Rangers to take the AL West crown and they did so in come from behind fashion and Miguel Cabrera won the AL Triple Crown.

The guys also talked about some possible scheduling conflicts involving the MLB playoffs and the NFL regular season moving forward.  Then they dove into the latest development coming from Jets camp, as Craig believes Rex Ryan is a beaten man and Mark Sanchez needs to man-up and let Woody Johnson…
