Police: Armed Robbers Tied Up Elderly Bronx Man Before Fleeing With Cash

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding two suspected armed robbers accused of breaking into an elderly man's home in the Bronx.

Police said the suspects broke into the 87-year-old man's home while he was asleep on Sept. 27 around 11:30 p.m.

The suspects woke the man up and then bound his hands and feet before fleeing with his money, police said.

The victim was not injured.

One of the suspects was last seen carrying a book bag and wearing a light colored shirt, dark colored pants and a black hat.

The other suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.

Both of the men had Jamaican accents, police said.
