Police: Suspect Wanted In Subway Stabbing Attack

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police are trying to identify a suspect who they said is wanted for stabbing a man at a West Village subway station.

It happened inside the subway station at 14th Street and 7th Avenue just after 6 p.m. Saturday. Police said the suspect stabbed a 28-year-old multiple times and then fled.

The victim was taken to a hospital.

Police said the suspect about 40-50 years old and around 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9. He was last seen wearing a light blue striped shirt and dark pants.
