B&C Morning Show: 'Loser Tuesday'

Craig was a bit distracted coming back from break because apparently today - and every Tuesday for that matter - is 'self-shot Tuesday' on one of Craigie's favorite websites.  Keeping the theme going, thanks to losses by the Yankees and the Jets, Craig called today 'loser Tuesday' and he welcomed Jerry Recco in to fill us in on all of the details.

Jerry began things by updating the Yankees' frustrating 3-2 loss to the Orioles in Game 2 of the ALDS.  Boomer was busy calling the Texans-Jets game on Westwood One Radio, but he was kept abreast of all the Yankees missed opportunities by Craig, via text.

The series will come back to the Bronx for Game 3 Wednesday night.  Hiroki Kuroda will be opposed by Miguel Gonzalez for the O's.

Over in the National League, the Cardinals exploded against the Nationals, winning Game 2 of their NLDS 12-4 and getting two home runs off the bat of Carlos Beltran in the process.

Plus, the Jets were in action on Monday Night Football, as they welcomed the undefeated Houston Texans into MetLife Stadium and fell to 2-3 after a 23-17 loss.  The Jets kept it a lot closer than many believed they would and even had a chance late until Mark Sanchez threw his second interception of the game.

Craig didn't place all the blame for the loss on Sanchez though, pointing out the Jets' run defense was not very good and Tony Sparano 'sucks as an offensive coordinator.'

Despite the loss, Craig did manage to crack a smile during the game whenever Jets owner Woody Johnson was shown on TV...
