B&C Morning Show: Getting To Know Former Big League Hurler Dave Stewart

With the MLB playoffs in full swing, Al Dukes booked 1989 World Series MVP Dave Stewart to join Boomer & Craig in the Allstate Studio to talk some baseball.

Unbeknownst to Al, Craig holds a bit of a grudge towards Mr. Stewart, dating back to 1990.  Craig's ill-will towards him is  based on some money he lost betting on the A's to beat the Reds in the World Series - which didn't happen.

Craig made Stewart very aware of this by telling him, in no uncertain terms, that he hates him.  After explaining why, Stewart simply asked why he did not bet on the '89 series?  To which Craig had no real rebuttal.

After the awkwardness subsided, the guys had a nice conversation with Stewart about his decorated career, as well as the Yankees' current playoff run.  He believes the Bombers are the team most prepared to win it all.

These days Stewart lives in San Diego and is a sports agent, representing Dodgers' superstar Matt Kemp and Yankees' back-up third baseman Eric Chavez, among others.  He keeps himself in pretty good shape and 'just like Craig', he is bencin' about 225lbs...
