B&C Morning Show: Where Were You When...

This segment began with Craig posing the simple question to Boomer: Where were you when it was announced Raul Ibanez would be pinch hitting for Alex Rodriguez, with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning and the Yankees trailing the Orioles 2-1?

Ibanez of course went yard, tying the game, making his manger look like a genius and setting the stage for his heroics in the 12th inning.  Jerry Recco began his first update with all of the details from the Yanks latest memorable moment(s), which just would not have been complete without the golden pipes of Yankees radio play-by-play man, John Sterling, describing the action as only he can.

Jerry provided all sorts of postgame audio, while the dynamic radio duo that is Boomer Esiason & Craig Carton provided plenty colorful commentary, as only they can.

Plus, not to be left-out of the postseason excitement, the A's scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th, to beat the Tigers 4-3 in Oakland last night - the Cardinals shut out the Nationals 8-0 and the Giants beat the Reds 8-3.  All eight teams will be back in action later today.  The Jets' 'circus' is starting to resemble a zoo as team owner Woody Johnson is confident Tim Tebow will be around for another three years, Rex Ryan is sure Mark Sanchez is gonna be his starting quarterback this week when his Gang Green take on rookie signal caller Andrew Luck and the 2-2 Colts - plenty of tickets still available by the way...
