Giants Legend Lawrence Taylor To Tim Tebow: 'Find A Nice Girl And Get Laid'
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Much has been made of Tim Tebow's minimized role with the Jets this season.
Fans and analysts alike are wondering, "Why was he brought in here this offseason? Why won't he get a chance to supplant Mark Sanchez? Will he ever get a chance? Is he really here to help the football team or just make headlines?"
But aside from his impact -- or lack thereof -- on the football field, another popular topic of discussion has been the former first-round pick's virginity.
Jets owner Woody Johnson was asked about whether his backup quarterback is still a virgin on CNBC on Wednesday, and he naturally answered conservatively, saying, "I don't really go into that. I don't know. I know that the ladies in your makeup room really like him."
Giants legend Lawrence Taylor was far more blunt when addressing the issue.
While appearing on Showtime's "Inside The NFL" on Wednesday, the Hall of Famer decided to give Tebow some friendly advice.
"I would say he would have to go to church, temple — wherever he goes — find a nice girl and get laid," Taylor said. "I mean, marry her if he has to, but he's got to get some of that pressure off."
Back in April, controversial website AshleyMadison.com offered $1 million for proof of sex with the muscular 25-year-old.
And earlier that month, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski made headlines by saying that he would "'F' Tebow to take his virginity."
