New Jersey Voter Registration Deadline Is Today

TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Today is the deadline for New Jerseyans to register to vote in the November election.

Voters can register at the Motor Vehicle Commission and Human Services offices.

Applications are also available online at www.Elections.NJ.gov and must be postmarked by Oct. 16 to be accepted.

In Connecticut, voters have until Oct. 23 to register by mail and until Oct. 30 to register in person.

The deadline for New Yorkers was last week.
