B&C Morning Show: Updating Another Yankees Loss And More
These days, when Jerry Recco delivers an update following a Yankees game, it begins with a recap of a Bombers loss. At least that has been the case thus far, since the Yanks began their ALCS against the Tigers.
Last night's Game 3 concluded with another Yankee loss, a 2-1 Tiger triumph -- which is where Jerry got started.
Once again the Yankees' anemic offense was the story, that and Joe Girardi's decision to bench both Alex Rodriguez and Nick Swisher. Unfortunately the bold move didn't work out as planned, as Tigers starter Justin Verlander proved to be too much. Tonight the Yankees will be looking to save face, and they'll do so with their ace CC Sabthia on the mound. He will be opposed by the Tigers' Max Scherzer.
