Reba McEntire may have stepped down as co-host along side of Blake Shelton for the ACM Awards this year, but we will actually be seeing more, not less of our favorite red head in prime time television!

Reba stars in ABC’s new fall series, Malibu Country which looks like it will be the perfect vehicle for her comedic talents! Reba plays a country music singer, moving from Nashville to Malibu, trying to revive her career. She tells ET Online that there will be plenty of music and musical guest stars, including Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson, once they develop a fitting story line, that has to be “honest.” Reba claims “It’s got to be honest. Everything about this show’s got to be honest.”

The pilot begins with Reba kicking her cheating husband to the curb!  In the words of the late Tammy Wynette, Reba’s character  is one spitfire who refuses to ‘stand by her man’ as she and her family start a new life in glitzy Malibu Country! With the hilarious Lily Tomlin playing the role of Reba’s mom, this seems like a sure-fire hit! Watch the trailer here and see for yourself!
