Worker Found Dead Inside Hamilton Heights MetroPCS Store

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A man identified in a published report as a MetroPCS worker was found dead with blunt force trauma to his head inside a storage room in Hamilton Heights Friday.

Around 1:13 p.m. Friday, police responding to a report of an unconscious person found Francisco Pinzon-Martinez, 30, dead in a building at 3544 Broadway, the NYPD said.

The building houses a MetroPCS store, which uses the apartment above for storage, the New York Post reported. Pinzon-Martinez was found in the apartment.

A police source told the newspaper that Pinzon-Martinez suffered trauma to his head and face, and his shirt was pulled up over his head.

The investigation was ongoing Saturday, and no arrests had been made, police said.
