Police Seek Man In Connection With Attempted Rape In Washington Heights
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man in connection with an attempted rape in Washington Heights.
In the early morning hours on Sunday a woman was followed into her building by a man that she described as either black or Hispanic. The alleged assailant was 5-foot-10 and was wearing a black vest , black jeans, and a plaid shirt.
The woman was able to fight the man off and he fled the scene. Police are asking anybody with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
