In football, the area on the field between 20-yard line and the end zone is either known as the ‘red zone’ or the ‘green zone,’ depending on whether or not you’re on offense or defense.

The ‘green zone’ thing was started by Tom Coughlin a few years back, but it makes sense, considering if you have the ball you want to ‘go.’
