Man Struck, Killed By Subway In Upper Manhattan

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Subway service on the No. 1 line was disrupted early Tuesday after a man was struck and killed by a train, police said.

The man was hit by a train around 5:30 a.m. at the 137th Street and Broadway train station.

Service was suspended in both directions for much of the morning rush between 96th and 168th streets as police investigated. It was restored around 8 a.m.

Details of what happened are still unclear.
